Update of Speed Cameras database
6/29/2009
We did a major update on our Speed Camera Database with data from Poland and Czech Republic. Thanks to some folks from Poland and Czech Republic we were able extent our database tremendously. Additionally we have extend our Speed Cameras from Spain and Italy as well. Besides those huge updates we had also minor updates to other countries (Great Britain, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, France and the Scandinavian countries). Besides Speed cameras we had also lots of other POI Content that we have updated.

If you would like to report missing speedcam/gatso data or you find some errors please report here the speed cameras. Extend you subscription for free! By sending us a speedcam that is not in the database you can extended your access with a 6 months for free (after verifying of correctness)! The data must include a picture and direction information.

The last few days we have processed a lot of speedcam submissions. We were behind because of the large number of submissions and lot's of work we had to do. So please have patient with us if your submission of speedcam data is not processed within a few days. Thanks to all the submitters!

PHOffline, Speedcam and POI updates

A short holiday is always useful to catch up work. We have sent out a new version of PHOffline to the beta testers. This version will also sync now to the live database. You are now able to install POIs very easy to your navigation device (if supported).Read more about POIHandler Offline here

Speedcam Updates

We have positioned our Speedcams exactly on the roads. We saw some problems that some navigation warning software did not mention when there where speedcams on the road. This was because the software only warn when a speedcam is found on the road. We have updated almost the entire database of speedcams to make this adjustment. Among this we have of course added a lot of new speedcams. Which we do normally on a daily/weekly basis.
