Mayor Speed Cameras (Radarfixes) updates of France

Currently we are travelling trough France to update the POIHandler speed Camera database. We have  drove already more than 6500 kilometers in 2,5 weeks of time with 674 updates. The result of this you will see of course in our database. We have also have some data for Italy and belgium (because we drove to those countries also). In the meantime I have improved my French language skills as well. Currently we are in the Ardeche and we have nice sunny weather (24 degrees). It is very beautifull here. It looks like a small version of the Grand Canyon in the US.
Updates of Speed Cameras and other POIs

Some people are already returning from holiday and did report new Speed cameras and updates to us. We have processed them all. So by downloading the latest speed cameras database you are completely up-to-date again. We are currently in the middle of the holiday period and this could result in less quicker respond to e-mails as usual. We are sorry for any problems this is causing you.

Besides speed cameras a number of other POI groups in various countries are also updated. If you have other interesting POIs that you would like to share in this community please let us know.

Last few weeks we have checked the complete database of UK. In the UK a lot of speed cameras are from 40 to 30 mph. We have updated all the cameras where we did get information from.

But besides the UK we have also updated other countries like France, Italy as well. For example USA  has now a coverage from 85%. So we are getting close.

We have updated last week again a lot of speed cameras in several countries. If you find any missing or in correct speed camera please update here the speed cameras.  If you are looking for a high quality database of speed cameras for your navigation device. Take an anual subscription for just 12 euro and you can download the latest data without additional cost during the complete year.

We did a major updates on our Speed Camera Database with data from Europe (Also eastern), USA, Australie and more. Thanks to all folks that sent us their submissions we were able extent our database tremendously. Besides Speed cameras we had also lots of other POI Content that we have updated. We have also updated some download formats to support more navigation devices.

If you would like to report missing speedcam/gatso data or you find some errors please report here the speed cameras.

POIHandler Offline – The successful application is still in beta but is already very useful for a lot of users. The application helps users to maintain their data and install this data on a very easy way to several navigation systems. Of course it is also very easy to selected POIHandler groups and installs them to your navigation device. Currently where are building some additional nice features which need some time to develop. Hopefully we can let you show the results at the end of this month (june). If you have suggestion to improve the application or you missing support for your navigation system, please let us know by using this contact form.
